Built by Overmarine and designed by the Alberto Mancini, HALARA is a showcase for Italian style and talent. Overmarine leveraged its experience in fast, open yachts and incorporated the more desirable lifestyle features into the Mangusta Oceano 43 line. The line proved to be a huge success. HALARA’s sleek and well-proportioned hull is accentuated by her streamlined aluminum superstructure, white paintwork and black tinted windows. Alberto Mancini’s interior is equally exciting. Drawing on his training in automotive design and his experience as a sailor, Mancini made the most of HALARA’s 451 gross tons and included a number of features usually only found on much larger yachts. The Story

The first Mangusta, the mongoose, came out of the Overmarine shipyard in 1985. It was a direct challenge to the fast open yacht Cobra built by Tecnomarine. It was such a success that the shipyard launched the Mangusta 80 a few years later. No “open” composite yachts had ever reached 80 feet before and now owners could at last enjoy “speed and space, sportiness and comfort”, all at the same time. As open yachts grew in size, reaching 165 feet, Overmarine branched out into a new market segment with the Mangusta Oceano line. A tri-deck displacement yacht built in steel with long range and able to cruise smoothly in any sea and weather conditions. Since her delivery in 2021, the Mangusta Oceano 43 HALARA has completed 5 transatlantic crossings and cruised extensively in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
